Billing, cancellation and refunds
Last updated 31 August 2026
RenderFactor is a monthly subscription, priced per seat, that renews on its own until you cancel. This page says exactly what is charged, when, how to stop it, and what you get back. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1.What is charged, and when
- On subscribing you are charged the plan’s per-seat price for the number of seats you chose, for one month, and your billing day is set.
- Every month on that day, the same amount is charged again for the next month, at the plan and seat count in force. The receipt arrives by email.
- There is no free trial. Nothing is charged before you choose a plan, and nothing converts to a paid plan on its own.
- Upgrading to a higher plan or adding a seat is charged at once, pro-rated for the rest of the current month; the new allowance is available immediately.
- Downgrading or removing a seat is booked now and happens at the next renewal, which is charged at the new amount. Nothing is taken away mid-period.
- Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they apply to you.
2.How to cancel
Cancel from inside the app, in two presses, at any time — no email, no call:
- Open Billing and press Cancel plan.
- Press Cancel at period end to confirm.
The subscription then ends on the last day of the month you have already paid for. Until then everything keeps working, and the same page shows a Keep my plan button that undoes the cancellation if you change your mind. Only the workspace owner can cancel.
When it ends, rendering stops, published client links stop answering, and your projects, images and documents stay in the workspace to download. Nothing is deleted by cancelling.
3.Refunds
- Cancelling does not refund the current month. You keep the plan to the end of the period you paid for, and are not charged again.
- Unused images are not refunded. Allowances are monthly and do not roll over.
- We refund in full any charge made in error, any duplicate charge, and any period we charged for and did not provide — for instance if we withdraw the Service.
- Something else went wrong? If the Service did not do what you paid for, write to us within 30 days of the charge and we will put it right or refund it.
Refunds go back to the card that paid, usually within five to ten business days of our confirming them. Nothing on this page limits a right to a refund that the law where you live gives you.
4.If a payment fails
We email you and retry. While the subscription is past due, published client links stop answering and no new month’s images are granted; update the card on the Billing page and, once the charge goes through, both resume. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription may be ended, and the workspace continues without a plan with everything in it still there to download.
5.Questions about a charge
Write to hello@renderfactor.com with the email address on the account and the date of the charge.
